In a remarkable celebration of academic triumph, Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA) extends heartfelt congratulations to Clifton Miheso of AFC Leopards SC and Samuel Onyango of Kenya Prisons FC for graduating from Zetech University.

Both athletes, known for their excellence on the football field, have transcended their sporting identities, emerging as education champions through the support of the KEFWA Scholarship program.

Clifton Miheso, a star player at AFC Leopards SC, expressed his joy and gratitude after completing his studies in International Relations and Diplomacy. “I thank God for this success and extend my heartfelt gratitude to KEFWA for sponsoring my scholarship,” Miheso shared, recognizing the significance of his newfound skills.

Miheso, a testament to life after football, passionately advocates for a paradigm shift among Kenyan footballers, urging them to invest in education or entrepreneurship for sustainable livelihoods beyond the pitch.

Samuel Onyango, currently affiliated with Kamiti Maximum Prison, graduated in Criminology and Security Studies. Balancing the demands of football and education, Onyango acknowledges the sacrifice involved, expressing gratitude for the scholarship opportunity from KEFWA.

When I heard about KEFWA scholarships, I applied and landed one, opening doors to Zetech University. It hasn’t been easy, but the sacrifice was worth it,” stated Onyango, highlighting the dedication required to excel in both realms.
