It is with deep regret and sadness that we have learnt the passing of Mwatate United FC defender Erick Oindo Mwemba also known as Gor who lost his life while swimming in a pool because of muscle strains.

“Erick will be remembered as a hardworking and dedicated player whose commitment to the game is something to be emulated by the upcoming generation. He has been performing tremendously and his contribution to the game was high,A humble and disciplined player,destined for greater things. He will be missed by many,” Said Chairman,James Mbaraka.
