Embarking on transformative journey, Clifton Miheso, a distinguished member of the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA), is not only celebrated for his exceptional football skills but also recognized as a catalyst for change within the professional football community. Today marks the culmination of his transformative journey, as he graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Zetech University, a feat made possible through the support of the KEFWA Scholarship program.

Expressing his elation in a statement to KEFWA Media, Miheso articulates the profound significance of this achievement. “I am very happy today. I thank God for making this a success, while also extending my heartfelt gratitude to KEFWA, who sponsored my scholarship,” shared Miheso, acknowledging the pivotal role that both faith and support have played in his success.

Beyond the football pitch, Miheso emerges as a passionate advocate for cultural change within Kenyan football. Addressing the challenges encountered by players who exit the stage prematurely, he calls for a departure from the exclusive reliance on talent. Miheso champions a paradigm shift, emphasizing the pursuit of education as a sustainable avenue for footballers to prepare for life beyond the pitch.

It’s high time for football players to change the culture of just depending on their talents. I am a testament that we (players) have an obligation to prepare for life after football,” adds Miheso, solidifying his commitment to fostering a holistic approach to the personal and professional development of Kenyan footballers.

His journey becomes an inspiring beacon, guiding fellow athletes to embrace a more comprehensive vision for their futures, particularly within the education sector.
