It has taken Footballer Life up to seven years of work to reach the broad network of communities the aim to empower through footballs all over the world. ‘Football Changes lives’ thus says David Clarke, Footballer Life head.
Alongside New Hera Interconnection, Footballer life recently entered into a partnership with Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA), a landmark move aimed at empowering Kenyan clubs, academies and footballers through football donations. Football cubs in the top two tiers in the country were represented in the partnership unveiling that had New Hera’s Marti Torres and Mr. Simiyu Ignatius representing Mr. Clarke.
With a presence in over a hundred and thirty countries and over a thousand grassroots academies world over, Footballer Life’s online digital platform- The Footballer Life App offers a digital hub for centralizing member profiles, this in the long run connecting players, coaches, scouts, academies world wide. It’s here that equipment support is made possible in the way of ball/kits donations as well as offering a chance for global networking. Below is a quick step by step guide on how to download the App.

During the launch, KEFWA supremos President James Situma, Vice President Terry Ouko and CEO Dan Makori lauded the entry of Footballer life and New Hera into Kenyan football, realizing its potential to open international doors to footballers as well as strengthen the grassroots.

‘’We have a had a very productive day as we partnered with Footballer Life and new Hera Interconnect. We are very happy that they are supporting this initiative and we welcome them with both hands believing our partnership will go a long way,’’ president Situma said.
‘’Kenya is our first pilot. We are working from the grassroots to the professional level. Through this partnership with KEFWA we aim to bring equipment and also build community. It will happen in three ways; help bring equipment to Africa starting with Kenya, we want to encourage data entry so that players all across the country are well documented. This will make it easier to find job opportunities and create pathways for them,’’ said New Hera’s Marti Torres.
KEFWA is however, not Mr Clarke’s first involvement with a Kenyan entity as they have in the past made lasting impacts with such clubs as history makers Madira Girls high School- famed for their dominance of the ladies game at both high school and premier league levels.

Popular by their moniker- Soccer Assasins, the teenage girls, through generous donations by Footballer Life and New Hera Interconnect, have in recent years made the most of these resources participating as far as the East African tournament and producing quite a handful of talent to the junior national squads for Kenya. Mr. Clarke says they are not yet done with the girls.
‘’We have some upcoming projects with Assasins and this should happen early next year. It will be big as the projection is to do a documentary for the team and have it aired and available on Netflix,’’ he reveals.
